And "it's what we did for the past x years" isn't a persuasive form of evidence. At all. It's just proof of convention.

we should not be letting any company get away with blaming AI for their failures. I'm not even sure how we got to this point. people are like "it's just a tool" okay so is a forklift and we still hold somebody responsible when it goes wrong and hurts someone. this is YOUR AI!

They seem kinda mad about how much of their work was discarded in building Clippy 😅 Lumière put a lot of effort into trying to guess *whether* a user needed help at the current moment… Clippy not so much

1. Find an important problem that you're passionate about solving
2. Get money from investors to solve that problem
3. Slowly realize that AI can't solve that problem
4. Now you better come up with some spin, because you're $30M in debt to Mark Andreesen
