Incidentally, if you’re playing a challenge run that restricts looting, you‘re not softlocked by following the Stormcloak in the opening. After the first fight, if you don’t loot the key off the officer, he’ll do it for you.

Mostly useless fact, but it‘s maybe relevant to @nerbit.bsky.social

This isn’t some slick trick for hiding that you otherwise wouldn’t be able to pull off. After looking at the inventory of the Stormcloak’s fallen comrade—you don’t have to take anything—you can mosey on over to the entryway and hide back there. It’s just not nearly as hilarious.

I haven't watched it proper yet, but what little I did see showed wood paneling, so...

It's obviously the best system, 10 out of 10.

My Final Fantasy references are like an onion.

They rhyme.

The ability to temporarily set emotion aside to deal with an immediate crisis is a skill that can save lives.

Once the crisis is over, however, embracing those emotions is part of the healing process. It's healthy, and ultimately makes the person stronger.

In context, I think it's mostly said to suggest the movie being talked about is simplistic, and can be a bit condescending.

Someone has pointed out, however, an instance in which, yeah, they really are asking a lot, and it's when movies essentially have homework. bsky.app/profile/drbe...
Latter Marvel features string together characters and plot threads from the large backlog of movies and Disney+ exclusive shows.

If you aren’t actively following everything, it’s a lot of homework to catch up.

A big ask considering how many developments end up retconned or ignored.

I wound up asking this because I’ve heard “it doesn’t ask a lot of its audience” while discussing a movie, and my reaction was “well, yeah.

It’s a movie.”

To clarify further, they left the mirror on “Before” after Mist, so Grace copied how Po normally looks instead of FV5 Po.

Normal Po has short hair.

Ooh, I might have to watch that again...

I wonder how unusual it is that I find neither outfit appealing. The shiny not-a-bikini looks like a design that would work a lot better drawn than worn. Actually, Kirk's outfit would probably look better drawn, too. Maybe clothes just look better when illustrated and able to defy reality?
