Thank you! I just checked out that website now. :-)
I have other reasons to return to Salida, and I will be prepared with a bike next time.

I just checked out the JKM website. It's fascinating to see folks making things w/such immaculate attention to detail.

I'm also a ways off from acquiring anything so rare, & I don't want to own "too many" guitars. Still, there are a couple of unique, handmade guitars I hope to acquire someday. :-)

I didn't even know Salida had forested trails down there. Awesome! Only been through Salida for kayaking.

I'll bring the bike next time I'm passing through. Love trees! 😃

I wonder if you would choose one of Mr. Frank's wood-backed Canna Guitars or one with the fascinating "hempstone" backs.

I am attracted to both. I'm not sure which direction I'd prefer to start with, but I'm a big fan and enjoy learning about all of his acoustic guitar design explorations. 😊

The Seven Seas Lagoon seemed so much bigger when I was a younger kid. I wouldn't have thought the Grand Floridian and Polynesian resorts could fit in the same frame. And the Polynesian has overwater bungalows now? It's been a while. Thank you for the lovely photo and childhood memory prompt. 😁

Two sources mentioned Usnea Lichen is typically written using phonetic kana instead of kanji, because outdated kanji is involved. Biology vocabulary can be particularly tricky to figure out in Japanese (at least in my experience)🙂 Here is the Hiragana "kana" for Usnea Lichen - さるおがせ (Saruogase)

Catching up on Emerald Guitars Shipping Videos, I thought I might have heard you being name-checked today in a video from last year talking about their upcoming 6-string basses. That's Kickin' It, for sure. :-)

I love the illustrations! I wonder how much of the concept they give you when you take on such a project or if they usually rely on you to come up with the direction. - As a limited-experience aviator, I also would love to read this specific article.🙂 Do you know if it has been published already?

Your guitars and your "space" have enviable character.

I love it! I've got to find a shirt that cool to match my green baby Gretsch (G6659) 😃

The beginning is often the best part, of everything!
Remember to smile to yourself during the challenging parts.
- I want to be like you this year w/guitar, but my circumstances require me to wait a few more weeks.
I’ll try to catch up to your level after I start. 🙂
Best wishes for your journey.

Wow, the user icons are so small. I didn't even notice that you already have one Emerald Guitar and are holding it in your profile image! (and it is the model I hope to acquire) Awesome! Also, it's cool that you like your first Emerald enough that you are planning on another. 😄

I like all kinds of mirror reflection imagery in photography, but I have never captured animal photos with this level of reflection magic. Something to aspire to. Thanks for sharing in a public venue.
