There is a non-zero chance that the reason this "Gaza Strip Real Estate" brain rot has set in for Trump is that "Gaza Strip" makes him think of the "Las Vegas Strip".
A "strip" is a highly lucrative real commercial zone in his mind, so if Gaza has one (even if currently in ruins), he wants it.
