NPC: Lucy. For someone who was initially made out to be a minor character even by you, she turned out to be very interesting. She's this odd mix of eccentric and oblivious, but still vaguely well meaning? I wouldn't be surprised if she was evil. Literal kidnapper...

NPC: Edward March. I know we gave our final sendoff to Harold Fulton but keeping the other side of his catalyst from us until now was diabolical. The implications of this mans identity, creating a tool that could destroy your mind and reshape you totally, is so scary.

NPC: I'm going to collectively give it to Eleanor and Brigid. Getting to meet some names from the Red Coven is really exciting and I really like the 2v2 setup with Merlin and Fortune versus them. The overarching plot develops with their presence here in the marsh

NPC: Sanguaro shall take the spot, no surprise there. It was great to finally meet the True Antagonist of the arc face to face. I'm anticipating this confrontation we've set out and I enjoyed learning the philosophy of the sword saint. ...why does my head hurt?

NPC: Miss Familiar was cool and I appreciated the homage with her name. As someone who grew up with HG/SS I honestly feel ashamed I didn't notice it immediately lol. The time limit reveal disrupted things but I'd like to learn more about her another time

NPC: I really like the book NPCs. I think out of all of them, the most interesting so far to me is Watson? He's been put in a classic Watson situation of being in over his head and uncomprehending of the trouble he's in, except now a witch is involved. Peak

NPC: The Tusk Coven leader Fista. It was really cool seeing the structure and presence of another coven besides Merlin's and the differences they have. Her personality feels a lot more compatible with Merlin than Merlin's mother is, lol. I hope we see more of her.

NPC: Scarrabathas scene as a child in an incomprehensible world was really compelling and I felt quite bad for the guy. I think Ambrose lending his magic to help them was all sweet but seeing the type of world he came from makes their friendship all the cooler

NPC: One final time, I'll give Jona my accolades. His philosophy and ideals clashing with my characters was splendid and the brutality of their fight was excellent. I want him to go living and come to realize just how wrong he was. Though I know this could come back to bite

NPC: Professor Squaregarden. She seemed really cool and doing research on alpha ghouls is right up my characters alley of interests. I also like her position as a teacher at a rival academy of Fortune's. She serves as a great entry point for introducing that world

NPC: Stick O' Gum gets it this time, I enjoyed how we got to show his ideological differences from Ambrose and the others early on. He agonizes so much over who gets ahold of what he makes, I wonder why he makes to begin with. The guilt of a creator is a sad thing

NPC: Black Tea. I still feel like she's hiding something, perhaps irrationally, but she's really cool and I enjoyed having her around. We're not far from novices ourselves but it was neat to see someone catch their first familiar, an experience we had off screen.

NPC: Hunter is a fucking freak, man. Jokes aside, a lot of weird and interesting ideas were teased this session from him and his team. Whether he's part of some hive mind or is just an awkward dude, he's certainly fascinating and a point of convergence for the arc

NPC: Selfish as always, I'm going to select Jona this time. The core philosophy he holds, of being evil and alive over righteous and dead, really made itself clear. I love the foil between him and Lucy and will be expanding on it as we progress in this fight.

NPC: Eolsch. I enjoyed the mentor, cautious researcher role and she meshed very well with the setting. I also had a lot of fun playing a prude in that situation, and getting that opportunity to translate Merlins more prim and proper tendencies despite her rebellion

NPC: Atrygn Windrose was an amazing character. Super complex, central to literally every aspect of the world, a guide, puzzle, and friend all in one. He was always a delight to have on the scene and the sight of him on the beach with what remains of lohiro will stick with me

NPC: Conrad's impassioned plea to Willow gives him my spot for this session. The nuance and complexity of his feelings towards the other Argonauts has always been interesting but clearly Tasha has nothing but his love and goodwill. Him betraying Burial Cloud surprised me :)

NPC: the archbishop had a helluva send-off. While the church's unwavering single mindedness was a big problem for us the whole campaign, the scene of the archbishop burning as she rejects the assistance of Saturday was great. In a way I have to respect her hatred. RIP?

NPC: The back2back Stick O' Gum performance will be remembered for generations. I really enjoyed his discussion with Hunter and the whole coin flip scene, and just in general he meshes very well with the group and Ambrose. A true irishmans irishmans I suppose

NPC: Jarnathan is becoming a persistent thorn in our side but despite my comments earlier I think there's a lot more to him than he's shown. A big theme in KEEP is the inability of people to come together even in the face of a universal threat and he exemplifies that.

The relief is crushing. I bought Christmas gifts yesterday and can pay for bills and food still
