I agree with everything you and @amandalitman.bsky.social are talking about (still listening to this episode), but why are you just skipping right over us GenX people? We’re pissed at what our boomer parent’s generation have done to the world too

Hackathons aren’t frivolous, but a couple of days where the teams get to be extra-innovative. My Mobile Team at BC used them to do non-roadmap things that often ended up in the app and platform. Passkeys came from a hackathon project for example.

Also, BC laid me off unexpectedly in Nov 2023. 🫤
