Strange to treat language like some kind of unknowable witchcraft which must be intuited rather than... A bunch of characters arranged in consistent and understandable ways? Certainly helps explain how often people confuse "definitely" with "defiantly"

The whole time I was reading the article, I was thinking exactly this. Like, it's completely obvious to me as someone that can read well that this isn't how I read? Any of the words I can read, I can read just as immediately if they're the only word in front of me. Not to brag 😏

It also has the nice benefit of redistributing emissions away from highly populated areas in the interim so that our children aren't growing up breathing in smog!

Wait, so the way to get good performance out of UE5 is to simply not use any of its headline features?

I recently followed you based on some thoughtful political takes of yours (admittedly not knowing anything else about you) but I just read this whole piece and it was wonderful! A fascinating subject, thoughtfully explored and clearly explained. Looking forward to reading more!

90% of crime is not going to be fixed by being "tougher on crime". In countries where they chop hands off for theft, there's still theft. You address it by tackling the oppressive mechanisms that make crime seem like a reasonable option.

I think far too substantial a percentage of our population see it as an avenue for revenge against those who wrong us, not recognising that doing so counterintuitively reinforces the mechanisms that create so much crime in the first place.

Indeed, my belief is that the purpose of the criminal justice system should be to make society safer and fairer. You achieve that by rehabilitating those who can be and keeping us safe from those who can't. The idea that they then require "punishment" in addition to that is pointless.

I'll be honest, I'm actually genuinely taken aback that a quarter of greens surveyed support the death penalty. It seems so far removed from the principles of progressivism that I struggle to understand how one would reconcile the two.

I was diagnosed with ADHD in my late 20s and many people very close to me have ASD, and I think we're all very tired of being told it's our superpower. Yes, it's fundamental to who we are and it informs everything about the way we think. But it also makes so much of life incredibly difficult.

I'm honestly so tired of 20 years of WoW clones. The MMOs I still go back to occasionally all these years later are RuneScape and Wurm Online - neither one is a graphical heavy hitter, but they're just cool and interesting to me.

I don't think that's the case anymore, unfortunately. I would absolutely recommend Prey though, it's excellent!

It's a challenging process but you're completely right, I hope you find something that works for you as well! ADHD is a tricky beast

I'm in a similar place, I've tried Concerta and Elvanse in the past and am currently on Medikinet. Not sure if it's having no effect but the side effects are unbearable
