Working on a short story currently titled "In Which Tech Bros Re-Invent Conservationism" and pretty sure it's going to be triggering for some of the women I've worked with in corporate environments.

“Not here,” said the admin. The name placard on his desk read Whitmore, and his body language read “fuck off.” The desk and the office were just as hostile in their own way, clean white plastic for the desk, grey cubicle walls clustered behind it, showing a maze of quiet bureaucratic efficiency all across the floor. My precinct house had charm, character, art-deco style. This one was where sense of self and ego went to die, ground into a powder by the relentless demands of capitalism and government. Everything was square, hard edged, unadorned. The closest to a human touch was the walls, where an orange stripe divided an ecru upper panel from a navy lower half. Even that felt more institutional than deliberate—the idea of whimsy from someone who’d never have to actually sit in the office they decorated.

Found a copy of Android in the wild at my local(ish) SFF convention!

Then I defaced it.
