Happy Thanksgiving Eve

Fraser Minten with a beautiful setup to Alex Steeves for the Boston Bruins first shorthanded goal of the season, Steeves second of the night, and it gives the Bruins a 3-1 lead in the 3rd period over the Islanders.

Derrick White with a monster half for the Celtics, who needed everything he gave them tonight.

☘️ Derrick White (27 points)

Duncan Robinson with two huge flops in this game and has been rewarded for both of them. Awful.

In all sincerity, I could probably make a valid case for all 26 Modern Era Semifinalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame to be inducted as part of the Class of 2026. Given 5 votes, these are mine: Drew Brees, Larry Fitzgerald, Rodney Harrison, Adam Vinatieri, and Vince Wilfork.

The Boston Red Sox now have 9 potential starting pitchers for 2025: Garrett Crochet, Sonny Gray, Bryan Bello, Patrick Sandoval, Kutter Crawford, Kyle Harrison, Peyton Tolle, Connelly Early, and Hunter Dobbins.

Solid No. 2-type addition should still be an option. #RedSox

Rumor has it the Boston Red Sox are trading for Sonny Gray. Would’ve been a little more exciting in 2015 than 2025 but still a solid addition. Any word on who the Red Sox are giving up?

I don’t consider the Buffalo Bills and New England Patriots rivals. They’ve never been good at the same time. When the Bills won 4 AFC titles in the early 90’s, the Patriots stunk. From 1996 to 2018, New England was in 10 Super Bowls, winning 6, while Buffalo had 0 playoff wins.

I honestly have no interest in Bill Belichick’s private life, but I do hope when he gets inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame that he does not pick his girlfriend to be his presenter.

I believe this might be my least controversial, and most universally approved take ever:

All yellow lights throughout the country should last for the exact same amount of time.

Whether Will Campbell misses a couple of weeks or a couple of months, Patriots fans should show some love and support for Vederian Lowe. New England needs him to play well, regardless of how long it is for.
November 24, 2025 at 7:29 PM
Mike Vrabel narrowed the length of Will Campbell being out to somewhere “longer than a week or two” but shorter than “career ending” when asked about it this morning. Guessing most folks were assuming that already.

Shoutout to all of the NFL teams with 10 wins already this season, and their fans.

I’ve said it many times before, but when watching an NFL game being played I’m actually surprised when someone doesn’t get injured on a play. The size, strength, and speed of the players really is superhuman.
November 24, 2025 at 4:33 AM
It's going to be very difficult for the rest of the NFL to stop the Philadelphia Eagles from repeating as Super Bowl champions this season. Not saying it can't be done, but they are clearly the best team in the league at the moment, with a championship pedigree to boot.
November 23, 2025 at 10:21 PM
New England Patriots with another win, which is awesome. Now cross your fingers for those injuries.
November 23, 2025 at 9:23 PM
Hate to speculate on the severity of injuries, but anytime a player puts a towel over their head like Will Campbell is doing it is usually bad news. Hoping for the best for the Patriots rookie.

It’s time to acknowledge that Morgan Geekie isn’t just “playing well” or “having a nice run” but is a legit awesome hockey player. He was great for the Bruins last year and had already shown he wasn’t a one-hit wonder. He now has 45 goals in his last 82 games!
November 23, 2025 at 3:01 AM
If the New England Patriots win tomorrow, they will get no credit because the Cincinnati Bengals are missing Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase. That doesn’t matter. Only the record matters. Regardless of who is playing for the opposition, the Patriots still just need to win.

Nine NBA have 10 or more wins so far this season.

Meanwhile, the Nets, Pacers, Wizards, Kings, and Pelicans have combined for 10 wins.
November 21, 2025 at 11:07 PM
2024 - Patriots upset the Bengals on the road in Week 1 under new head coach Jerod Mayo, who gets a Gatorade shower. Patriots go 3-13 the rest of the season.

2025 - Patriots lose at home to the Raiders in Week 1 under new head coach Mike Vrabel. They’ve gone 9-1 since then. 🤷‍♂️

I hope everyone in the Epstein Files gets outed, even if it will be disappointing in some cases. Regardless of political affiliation, fame, wealth, or any other reason, it’s indefensible behavior. Identify them all, let the chips fall where they may, and then move on.
