I was in a grocery store, and there was a man in the meat aisle, ranting about the price of ham for his Thanksgiving, and I thought about the price the tortured pig pays. It’s so depressing that our U.S. holiday is one celebrated by mass slaughter of pigs and turkeys, sentient sensitive animals.
