Thank you for the polite email filling me in on the status of my account amid your acquisition of Warner Bros., Netflix, but your business dealings have no effect on my life, and furthermore, your low-key touting of the IP you will soon absorb and begin generating boring shit from, little cheesy.

ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER has some thrilling stuff, and hilarious stuff, and it's Leo's greatest performance I don't care what anyone says, and Penn's character is a brutal dissection of a certain mind-set that has always been prevalent, but is getting catered to right now like never before, sadly.

I've turned digging 80s Steve Winwood years old and I don't know how to feel

DEATH BY LIGHTNING was mostly a good performance showcase, necessarily exposition-heavy, slightly dubious as history, and the best part, they didn't "redeem" Guiteau, but painted him as a ridiculous narcissist right to the end. Not all bad guys can be redeemed!

Lot of "government is inherently bad" folks fist-pumping over the government re-opening, cuz it's all about putting points on the imaginary politics scoreboard, instead of remembering what you're supposed to believe.

One thing you notice about the history of recorded music is, for a few decades there, people were really interested in muskrats.

The message of Pluribus is, it seems like it would be awesome if the whole world ran with flawlessly harmonious efficiency, but it would actually be awful and creepy, and if you want to truly be happy, you must embrace the mess.

Pluribus episode 1 is a great Twilight Zone twist on apocalyptic storytelling plus weirdly funny plus you get to hang out with Rhea Seehorn for a bit, so it's pretty much a four-star deal.

House of Dynamite should just be called Come Back Barack.

"He did a lot of good things in the beginning but he went bad later," will be uttered a lot in the future, by a lot of ignorant-ass apologists.

Dueling Christmas Carol movies coming, but why bother when they'll never touch the best?

Ricken as John Wayne Gacy, why does this feel entirely correct?

To reiterate that which should not require reiteration: Nobody cares about TRON. Say it over and over. Make it your mantra.

Fifteen minutes was about all I could stand of that Ed Gein show on Netflix, and all I can really say is, Charlie Hunnam, why man?

It's not called Been Caught Stealing, and why isn't it? Also, having the guy kick the cat, come on. We already know he sucks.

Don't forget, Lando had an assistant who was part robot, whose name was Lobot, which suggests a person who was lobotomized, and turned into a robot. How fucking dark is that? What was really going on in Cloud City?

I hope it's the last Mission Impossible, because it was too long, and there was too much talking, and too much Tom Cruise ego-stroking, and the "oh my God I can't believe he did that" factor no longer grabs me, and frankly the series hasn't been any good since they dumped Jeremy Renner.
