Yorgos Lanthimos fans based in Los Angeles eager to see his latest film for free are in luck: a cinema is offering complimentary tickets to a special screening on Monday to anyone who is either already bald or is willing to have their head shaved in the foyer first.

Getting people on seats has come to this....
Lynne Ramsay's 'Die My Love' is an erratic percolating pandemonium. The psychological onslaught left me all over the place in the end but I'm veering towards the positive. It took me a while to get over the sheen of two major Hollywood occupying the main roles, but they both end up doing good work.

I very much vibed with 'Bring Her Up' a sublimely earthy, hallucinatory type of horror that seeks to arouse all the senses, conjuring a heady immersive experience that lingers. And with a brilliantly unhinged Sally Hawkins, who is so unpredictable ramping up the anxiety!

Just to say whoever was a location scout for The Sandman S2, those bits with Orpheus head supposedly on a Greek island, look far too green and very old ye England not Mediterranean in the slightest. Attention to detail much?

Ofc plenty of stuff to poke at but I did, surprisingly, enjoy 28 Years Later. I was on board with its more dystopian take with just enough exposition but still had a bit of the frenzied energy akin to Boyle's films.

This is Ando. He's been a high-risk explosives detection dog for 6 years, and last week he celebrated his final day on the job. His coworkers threw him a surprise retirement party by showering him with dummies, a special reward that detection dogs are trained to love. 14/10 congratulations Ando
