Ginge the Analyst
@danielsanalyst.bsky.social
London based media and technology analyst trying his best not to be annoyed by politics. I enjoy geeking out over tech, love music, great beer warhammer and the company of good people. Hopefully that bio goes down better here than it did Tinder.

My Spotify has shown that while my taste in Genres is broad I need to branch out on artists. Apparently in the top 0.05% of Einaudi listeners and "at the top" for Coheed and Cambria too.

As a Londoner this resonates with me. Everyone here is a rich Liberal elite who's in a gang and stabbed at least once a week

A suggestion to every person for 2024: Waterproof boots. Not for any practical reason, just for puddles.

See how much better your life is when you just let yourself splash through a puddle every now and then.

Simple things that will just make your life better in 2024!

@emmathorne.bsky.social Hi Emma I was very disturbed today to see an ad' for 'The Sound of Freedom' on a London bus. Have you covered this movie already? Can you? The timing seems more than coincidental given global occurrences.

At a time where there are genuine concerns about a rise in antisemitic sentiment we should be very aware of the timing US evangelical groups have chosen to begin promoting the QAnon affiliated widely debunked Sound of Freedom in the UK. This should not fly under the radar!

Tory MPs are so desperate they are now parroting Donald Trump's "asylum seekers are rapists" claims. This party is morally and intellectual bankrupt. Time to just let it die

As we Amazon publishing is a favourite of the get rich quick scheme lot. Now I am seeing adverts for companies like Wordgenie which are using AI to autogenerate books based. There are real copywrite concerns here!

Love how some things never change. Sat in the pub and there is a fresher trying to convince his female buddies to watch Strangers on a train and pycho. All the classics I remember the arty Freshers pushing in 2002

I always forget just how much I love this track from Coheed and Cambria. It's that final flourish at 5mins. Chills. #music

So I still use my Dial every day, got some shortcuts on it, plus when you have lots of rows of data or lines of code its a nice tactile scroll. But it's too big to be used for on-screen control on a phone!

You may soon be able to use Surface Dial on Surface Duo's displays - Neowin
