The only way America can get its reputation back is if it tries and convicts these murderers itself.

I think those two things are incompatible. You can be a friend of America or a friend of Trump but you can't be both.

If this was serious he would be suing in the UK, you know, where the BBC is and where Panorama was broadcast. To sue in Florida would just create a clown show lacking any jurisdiction and I doubt he will do it. Too many of his lawyers are getting sanctioned for incompetence and abuse as it is.

Anyway, I doubt that any such case will be filed. I don't think he is serious. This is just a distraction to get anything other than his association with Epstein off the front pages and it won't work.

To posit that an individual exists who can sue but not be sued is an obscenity so elitist, so aristocratic, so imperial that surely no American can tolerate it? If the Qanon nutters believe in anything at all then they should eat him alive for this.

Of course, Trump won't see it that way because he thinks that he is a god-emperor. Essentially, "L'État, c'est moi" but that is transparently and fundamentally unamerican in a way that can't be ignored.

If Trump is suing personally then that could be even more stupid. Trump has many civil legal actions pending against him which are all stayed while he is president. If he personally sues anybody else then he risks making it possible for others to sue him personally.

Nothing is too obvious when rubbing the Not Sees' noses in it. Subtlety is dead. The more obvious things are, the funnier it is to watch the Not Sees desperately try to Not See it.
