Interesting! I’d never heard of it tol today. ChatGPT: NB + NS Acadian dish, potato dumpling w/savoury pork filling. Outer grated raw potatoes + mashed potatoes—dense, chewy. Boiled several hours; greyish colour and distinctive texture. Traditionally served w/S&P, or butter, sugar, or molasses.
