One would have to be extremely gullible to state that Anne Hidalgo made Paris better. Dirty and unsafe streets. Crazier traffic (even with less vehicles), nonsense and neverending construction work.

Awful and incompetent mayor who mainly uses greenwashing to travel extensively by car and plane.

And she hardly embodies political courage; she's been awful with victims of the rue de Trévise blast, and she pretends to endorse transparency while she's not even transparent on her expenses (paid by the taxpayer).

Absolutely ludicrous to believe that Anne Hidalgo changed Paris for the better. The city is unsafe and dirty, while its debt is skyrocketing. Traffic is worse while there are less vehicles. Buses go slower.

Hardly. Anne Hidalgo will be remembered as the shameless incompetent who defaced the city and its finances. Only clueless people who haven't lived in Paris would praise her actions, who mainly consisted in wrecking the city.

Wasting billions for a few people to swim in the (still) filthy Seine shows the utter lack of consideration for the taxpayer's money.

Meanwhile, the city she's been overseeing is as dirty as ever and they use duct tape all over broken lampposts.
