Someone at @sound-transit.bsky.social discovered a way to make an announcement play after the doors close. I’m sure this reminder will save countless people who don’t understand physics and inertia.

It's unacceptable for @sound-transit.bsky.social to tell people to pay their fare with the app when the ORCA readers are down.

Idea: what if @sound-transit.bsky.social cleaned the stations? Everyone who uses Capitol Hill Station regularly knows about The Splash.

That’s been like that for as long as I’ve been in Seattle. The 43 puts its poles up a couple stops after the bridge using these little catchers. In practice it doesn’t work because there are no road markers for the driver to align the bus with.

so is this bus stop at Union and 12th for route two just never going to open? It looks done. Is it really just going to sit unused for a year?

@kingcountymetro.bsky.social is in the middle of the route during rush hour the best place to fix a jam in the fare box of the G Line? We ended up with two buses bunched behind, one of which passed.

Even In China, where international credit cards are accepted basically no where, even at major chains like McDonalds and Starbucks, the subway now accepts open loop payments.

Good to be back in Seattle. My G Line bus has been waiting for 5 minutes at Spring and 6th because the signal isn’t giving a bus signal.

Here are some of my meals. All of these cost under $5 US. The hawker center provides clean dishes, silverware, etc so the vendors can focus on cooking food instead of the logistics of running a restaurant. You can easily get michelin rated food for under $5 here.

Singapore is full of these hawker centers, which are huge food courts full of little stalls for people to sell food from. They are operated by the government to give people a sanitary place to sell their food without worrying about all the logistics of running a business.
