Additionally, I will be syncing all my posts across LinkedIn and X/Bluesky, whereas before I had a more technical focus on LinkedIn, showing clips from my Unity Editor of the progress I've made. On X/Bluesky, it became more casual over time and became less relevant to my project.

I plan to switch to biweekly updates on the game's progress. I don't like ending the week with nothing to show for it, but my current workload makes it difficult. I'm not stopping, just timing it for when I can focus more. Right now, I'm too exhausted to be more frequent.

Ok. Serious post this week. I haven't had enough time to manage between my project and my life, including work and other priorities. Obviously, priorities come first; nothing existential is happening. I just haven't been able to put as much time into developing the game recently.

I honestly cannot wait to get my hands on Ace Combat 8! While we wait, I'll need to channel that excitement towards making my own game.

To follow up on last week's car-focused tweet. I've been inspired and decided to improve the QOL in my own car. So I dug around in the insides of my car to add Android Auto and Nav to my older Mazda.

While successful, I've learned I'm no mechanic... 😅 I'm too tall... 🤣

I've been getting back into NFS recently... Blacked out for a few hours while playing and came back with this. Almost makes a racer wish for A World Without Bounds.

I'm nearly through completing AC4. The last thing I want to do is unlock all the aircraft and their variant skins. I've already hunted down all the enemy aces, so all I need to do is replay the campaign a couple more times. I've had a lot of fun, and I can't wait to play AC5. 💖

Recently got BF6... I'm playing it on my laptop, which has a 3060 with two fewer GB of VRAM, under the recommended specs. Yet... It is stable... And I'm having the time of my life. LMAO

While working on my game, I often switch between different aspects of my project. I previously created a simple flag design I liked.💖

I use the Affinity suite of applications for my design work, and I'm currently really excited about their upcoming announcement on October 30th.

I've finished the Campaign and Trial Missions in Ace Combat 4, now replaying to unlock all aircraft and skins on expert difficulty.

Mission 4 was rough, as I needed to complete the mission in under 1'05"00. I only barely managed with a time of 1'04"98 in a max speed stat SU-37.

I went to see Bryan Adams last night at Calgary's Scotiabank Saddledome for my sister's and brother's birthdays. 🥳 (Their birthdays are very close together.)

While working on my game, I've run out of things to do in my source material... XD (excluding some nicknames I missed in AC7). I even completed the Win 50 Team Deathmatches in AC7, thanks to my friends. 💖 Can't wait for AC8 and other indie projects being worked on rn! 🎉

I'm using Obsidian to organize my project's game design document. Thank you, @constantine.games, for getting me to try it a few years ago. Because since then, I've fallen in love with it. I'm sure many people are already familiar with Obsidian, but here are some plugins I use. 💖

I didn't do as much as I wanted to this week.😞I've taken a 'small' break to think about how to handle hardpoints and the HUD going forward, and I've come up with a good solution. Now is just a matter of implementing it. During my break, I finished Sea of Stars. Great Game.🌙💖☀️

Took me a 'minute' to figure out how to get scaling work correctly. Using this, I can dynamically adjust the HUD and icons for armaments and ammunition. I'm really happy with how it came out!💖

The 6.3 Prototype is now live up on my Itch! Now that I've completed the base setup I need, I can start working on weapons, which I plan to include in the next major update to the game. Once those have been implemented, I'll finally have something that resembles a game! 😍
