This evening I asked my 14 y/o daughter how it feels to have parents who are cool enough to use expression “six seven” at every opportunity. She promptly stood up and went to bed.

There’s the culprit.

There are benefits to having the most DIY problem-solving father ever to have lived. The challenge is resisting the urge to fix it all myself.

One of the big truths I’ve embraced this year is that I simply can’t fix it all.

Trying out this social media thing again. This time more emphasis on the “social” and less about the “media.” It is a tragedy that a tool with such potential for enhancing human connection has been so leveraged as a catalyst for divisiveness.
