I'm not doubting that Epstein was horrific. And I do believe victims. But all of that is a *far* cry from endorsing the kind of conspiracies QAnon has pushed on this topic for years (most of which cynically use Epstein's terrible crimes as a convenient vehicle to attack QAnon's political enemies)

I'm going to pipe down about this, because I've made this point a few times tonight already, and that's enough, but I'm wary about jumping on this bandwagon, as popular as it is on Bluesky. It feels like we're recreating the vibe of a group of right-wing MAGA folks just before the 2024 election.

I'm confused. Is there anything in these released emails that even remotely approaches what @bencollins.bsky.social is saying *in jest*? I think folks need to pump the breaks, even with respect to Trump, who, I'll grant you, is sending out some pretty weird signals about the #EpsteinFiles right now.
