Runs like a stupid Oil and Gas advert. This could be understood if that's all AB had and could do, but it isn't. AB has the 2nd most wind and is rich in solar and geothermal. Especially all those 170,000 capped wells. It's preposterous. AB/SK can be 100% renewable. bsky.app/profile/walt...
The number of renewable energy opportunities in Alberta are incredible. More than 172.000 capped wells across AB, there's their geothermal heating. They're in the Goldilocks zone for solar, and #2 most wind in Canada. AB could be a 100% renewable province along with SK. They just don't wanna 🤦♂️
