It also implies that we can keep the treadmill going forever even though AI investments aren’t producing anything of value. In reality the more we pour into unproductive investments, the bigger the crash will be when it comes.

If it makes you feel any better, DOGE also cut cancer research which has both domestic benefits and domestic support. The idea that society’s benefits flow from billionaires and that government is waste needs to be exposed. One of our major political parties is devoted to implementing that bs.

The same reason WaPo didn’t fact check its conservative columnists. The same reason conservative candidates refuse to be fact checked. Once you fact check them, these arguments fall apart and the platform loses its ability to claim that it’s representing all sides of the controversy.

Your taking for granted the result of an argument that us laypeople didn’t even know existed. Is there a lay-friendly source to learn what was wrong with the idea of feudalism and what the real system was?
