Just cancelled my WaPo subscription. I know it will hurt good journalists but I'm sick of putting money in the pocket of a man who worships at the altar of President Musk and the Great Orange Stain. F*** Off Bezos.

My loathing of Overdrive & Libby has increased 100 fold. I HATE Libby but at least we had Overdrive for the desktop. Well, no more. From the NYPL Overdrive Web site "OverDrive's desktop app for Windows and Mac will stop being supported on November 13, 2024." Overdrive should be ashamed & embarrassed

Hooray! The Gay Center Pat Parker Vito Russo Library (on the 4th Floor) is re-opening today from 12-6pm after being closed for over 4 years. After today the regular hours will be Sundays from noon to 4 p.m (from 10/20/24). Drop by & say hello.

It's near the end of a wonderful birthday (71). We had lunch at one of our favorite places, Tea and Sympathy (www.teaandsympathy.com) then came home and watched Shrek, hadn't seen it since it came out. The Groundhog came through for Spring! Yea!

Today (Nov 12) is @AlexHallactress last show on BBC Radio Tees 1PM NYC time. Songs from the Shows was great music theatre radio. She will be missed! She's not on this app so she won't see it (it's at the other place), but I want to acknowledge her. Love you, friend.
