What’s happening is tantamount to torturing civilians. Israel – and the United States – must act to relieve needless suffering and death.

But fighting will only stop when both sides agree to it, or Hamas is crushed, and neither is likely soon. Meanwhile, nearly two million people are enduring tremendous suffering.

In the examples above, Republicans are, in essence, accusing Democrats of using this rhetorical technique – claiming that Donald Trump and his supporters are violating people’s rights, when rather, it is Democrats who are doing so.
