Net denizens welcome participation - that is what makes the Net worth their time - but they resent exploitation. “The nodes belong to the organizations that own them. Cyberspace - the sum total of the human activity you see on the Net - is created on those machines by the users. Abuse cyberspace and the users will feel you are abusing them. Keep that in mind and you'll suffer less.”
