Can anyone tell me how to view the screenshot? Clicking on the warning label just gets what's shown here, and the other menu on the side doesn't have any "view media" options.

Heck, Dinesh D'Souza literally wrote a book about how there wasn't any more racism in the US and only liberals said we needed to do something about racism, and he acted surprised this week to encounter racism on the right.

And, possibly, all they heard when looking him up was the nice stuff. Unless they had the curiosity to see if they'd been fed a misleading idea of him, it wouldn't occur to them that that wasn't the whole picture.

I think it's more a commentary on information silos than anything else - if you're presented with only one fragment of information, you have to first know you're not getting the whole picture before you'd even think to look for more. I expect they're like the friend here and would be horrified.
