They don't mean standalone "public restrooms" buildings, they mean toilets accessible to the public without having to pay first. Any big box store, mall, big grocery store, public libraries, larger gas stations, etc. will not require payment before you can access the restroom.

Oh gosh yes traveling around NW Europe with someone with mobility impairments was so frustrating. Saw almost no locals with mobility aids either. Get to Amsterdam (well known for being flat) and there's folks with walkers/canes/👩🦽 and ramps everywhere, so I guess elsewhere they just stay at home.

Haven't shopped there in 20 years, but I remember being impressed by several tailoring details in the interior of their dresses. Waist stays, for example, which I've never seen in RTW otherwise.

A lot aren't really into politics, so when they're told their flight is cancelled because of a "Democrat shutdown" they won't think to question that.

She's very good at meditation and tuning out ongoing distractions, so she'll tune out the feels-like-a-headband glasses (or always-there arm baby), but not always notice they're there when she's looking. I can't do that at all and the person breathing near me will annoy me with every single breath 😄

My mom is definitely not ADHD (Dad and I are and she can't understand us one bit) but she loses her glasses on her head regularly (and when she had multiple kids under three was once frantically looking for the baby she was holding). I think for her it's combination overwork and natural focus.

Yup, yet another place where I fail at womaning properly - woman are inherently chaotic, as Jordan Peterson etc say, so if I prefer physics and things with clear answers I'm acting unacceptably manly, not choosing the appropriate "woman's science."
