I was reading about brain worms to refresh my memory, and did you know our most famous brain worm guy also had mercury poisoning? How does one guy end up like this?
WHITE: No, it usually doesn't directly cause much in the way of memory loss. If you do careful psychological tests, you may see some minor [memory] problems, but [this] wouldn't be a common symptom. If someone has had frequent seizures, however, they can end up with memory loss. People wouldn't describe brain fog or memory problems. As an aside, those are more typical of mercury poisoning. [Editor's Note: According to the New York Times, Kennedy has said he also experienced mercury poisoning around the time he had learned of his parasitic infection. Mercury exposure has been linked to central nervous system damage that can cause memory loss and Alzheimer's disease.]

Text from the San Francisco Chronicle: My wallet with my identification was in the car, but the agents refused to go look and confirm that I was a citizen. Instead, I sat in the dirt with my hands zip-tied with other detainees for four hours. When I was sitting there, I could hear agents asking each other why I had been arrested. They were unsure, but I was taken away and thrown in a jail cell anyway. My first night in jail, my hands were burning from the pepper spray and tear gas because I was never allowed to wash them off. During the three nights and three days I was locked up and put on suicide watch, I could not make a phone call and was not given a chance to speak to a lawyer.

(Then they fought and won a four-decade-long Cold War against the Soviet Union.) The liberal international order rests on a founding act of violence, of which the Normandy campaign was a crucial part. It was justified, of course, because it was also an act of self-defense against the fascists’ attempts to found their preferred world order on the rest of us.

In 2019, Trump approved a risky intelligence gathering operation that resulted in the murder of North Korean fishermen. The relevant committees in Congress were never notified. The sourcing is corroboration of leaks.
The shore team swam to the boat to make sure that all of the North Koreans were dead. They found no guns or uniforms. Evidence suggested that the crew, which people briefed on the mission said numbered two or three people, had been civilians diving for shellfish. All were dead, including the man in the water. Officials familiar with the mission said the SEALs pulled the bodies into the water to hide them from the North Korean authorities. One added that the SEALS punctured the boat crew's lungs with knives to make sure their bodies would sink. The SEALs swam back to the mini-subs and sent a distress signal. Believing the SEALS were in imminent danger of capture, the big nuclear submarine maneuvered into shallow water close to the shore, taking a significant risk to pick them up. It then sped toward the open ocean. All the U.S. military personnel escaped The 2019 operation has never been publicly acknowledged, or even hinted at, by the United States or North Korea. The details remain classified and are being reported here for the first time. The Trump administration did not notify key members of Congress who oversee intelligence operations, before or after the mission. The lack of notification may have violated the law. The White House declined to comment. This account is based on interviews with two dozen people, including civilian government officials, members of the first Trump administration and current and former military personnel with knowledge of the mission. All of them spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the mission's classified status.
