Just like OSRS, there has never been a true successor to Morrowind. Even though Oblivion is a better RPG than Skyrim, they have more in common with one another while Morrowind stands alone.

I feel like a boomer for saying this, but Morrowind is just a perfect game. If you look past the "old game" issues, it really makes one realize just how far game design has strayed off the path--prioritizing instant dopamine over delayed gratification.
