I know...lots of juicy political gossip and sick burns to talk about.

But how about that bit where Elon openly said that he personally bought the election and is unhappy with the return on his investment?

Removing statues honoring Confederates = erasing history = bad.

Erasing history from schools, government documents, and museums = good.

Moderating misinfo on social media = censorship = bad

Censorship and intimidation of news, colleges, and protesters = good

Something isn't mathing right.

My new Inhuman Genome album is live: "The Labyrinth of the Sleeping Wraith"

The score to my novella of the same name about a writer haunted by nightmares and an elusive wraith. This album morphs between ambient soundscapes, melodic music, and heaviness.

I lived in Philly/Jersey longer than anywhere I've ever lived, and yet, if I try to say "coffee" like them, I still sound like somebody who's just started learning how to say words. cawwfy...cawwwafy...coowfey...I can't even type it!

For years, I've seen a constant stream of articles saying things like, "The Internet is furious with..." or "The Internet slams..." or "The Internet roasts..." or "The Internet hates this..."

Does anybody have any idea who "The Internet" is and how can reason with this person?

There are people out there who would gleefully shit in a river upstream from people who drink from that river. Those people got their president today.

My daughter made it out of LA last night.

This is climate change. A lot of people on the right are casting blame to avoid taking responsibility. This is their fault, and they refuse to learn any lessons from the consequences.

Why do most people have illustrations instead of photos for avatars on this platform? (That's how it seems, at least)

Would you want to live like an old pulp writer, pumping out constant short stories for enough scraps to keep the rent paid and lights on, but at least doing what you love for a living?

I mean, there are modern equivalents, and maybe some of you essentially do this, minus the typewriter.

This feels like a tidal shift. People are starting to realize that we're all on the same side, and it has been in the hoarders' interest to divide us. I have a feeling a lot of political lines are about to blur.

I'm so glad the UHC story has reinvigorated the conversation about economic justice. The healthcare debate has been mostly quiet ever since Bernie and Warren ran because they've kept us distracted with the culture war.

If we get economic justice, social justice will follow.

Maybe Biden could give some of those pardons to all the non-violent offenders his crime bill crammed into prison instead of just his own son?

When I put a shirt in the washer inside-out, it comes out of the dryer inside-out. When I put it in right-side-out, it comes out inside-out.

Scientists, please get on this.
