I’ve found it helpful in my personal life to “aspire”—usually toward certain tasks or chores in the material short-term, but it helps me calibrate and orient toward much more ideal horizons

I frequently find myself coming in conflict with perfectionism and black & white thinking… I have issues with perfectionism in particular because it’s essentially unattainable / a moving target so it’s not really fair to anyone in my experience.
