He really was. I'm glad they went the creative route of trying to make them sound like two different people. Probably the most effective use of it in all of Batman.

James Bond should die at the end of every movie and each new movie should begin with the new actor walking by the old one's corpse, making some clever remark, and carrying on with the movie.
