I guess the most pessimistic response would be, if they conveniently lost the records of who entered the prisons and also conveniently permanently “lost” the people in the prisons, that would solve a whole lot of budget problems.

Yeah but billionaires can get rich off of private prisons super easily, so you know. That benefits the government now.

I mean that’s why they’re going to use private prisons to detain people indefinitely instead. V large private prisons. Camps, if you will.

I mean, if it’s illegal to do/show the salute, then it’s illegal. Hopefully the investigation will show that they did it as criticism of Musk and not as support of the salute, and they’ll get a slap on the hand. But if the newspaper had to censor the salute, I’m not surprised abt the investigation.
