pretty dishonest to say "they won't" when so many people have been out in the streets, historic numbers in fact. but also: every day citizens don't take oaths to protect and uphold the constitution.
The "Do Something Now" crowd wants politicians to take a bullet for them, while they cower on social media.
They will demand others to throw their lives away to perfect democracy, but they won't.

I can’t imagine seeing the momentum from this weekend and wanting to channel it into… (checks notes)… going back to November of 2024 - when things were so bad that enough people decided to roll the dice and elect Donald Trump - rather than into universal healthcare or taxing billionaires.
