Y'all, these little feets. I just can't. 😭😍

As a lifelong theatre sort myself, I have pretty much hated just about every novel I've ever read that focused on theatre stuff. They always manage to make it simultaneously more boring and more absurdly melodramatic than it usually is. So I'm definitely intrigued by this list.

Week's almost over, so I figured I'd better get on sharing my sock drawer! This is just mine, minus the ones in the laundry. Partner has a drawer just as full, plus the bin full of socks that need repairs... 95% plain patterns — your girl's a productive fidgeter. 🧶 #showmeyourknits

Man, nobody throws a bullet like Kevin Koe, and I don't think I will ever get tired of watching him do it. #brier2025

Took me somewhere in the vicinity of 14 years to make it through the Bible cover to cover (with many long periods of not picking it up at all). 📖🦋

This bit from an email from my strength training program just sends me. I *do* want to be a forest goblin who can deadlift my enemies and touch my toes!

Read 6 books this month, so can't complain about that. 4 of them were new-to-me authors.

Don't know if I want to claim this one as my favourite, given that I didn't like what followed enough to even finish the book, but this is the one that inspired me to start including opening lines in my book reviews: (see next post)

This is not an edge-of-your-seat thrill ride, and it's *super* dated, but it is also just quietly devastating. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ #booksky 📚💙

Last one I borrowed was Shot r Westerfeld's Pretties (just picked it up today). Last one I bought was Xiran Jay Zhao's Heavenly Tyrant. #bookishqotd 📖🦋

The wee purple gauge swatch has evolved and is on the way to becoming an R&R hoodie (by @tanisfiberarts.bsky.social), with the chart from Judy Kaethler's Underwing. #showmeyourknits #wednesdaywip 🧶

I always loved Sara Crewe from A Little Princess. I've always tried to follow her example of not assuming I have what I have because I'm entitled to it, but to strive to deserve it. #bookishqotd

The weather outside is frightful, so it's a very good day to be inside with a cat, some yarn, and some Scotties curling. #STOH #knitsky

How lucky a knitter am I that my cat is so chill about yarn that I can knit from a ball that is literally sitting on him? #knitsky

#showmeyourknits My current #WIPs are super exciting: gauge swatches. The dark one is for a Roam Tunic for me, and the light one is for my niece's birthday sweater — an R&R hoodie with butterflies.

Short stories are not typically my favourite thing, but these were intriguing enough that I'll try at least one more of the author's books. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1/2 #booksky

Well this is annoying. I have another ball, so not a big deal, but annoying nonetheless. #knitsky

So one of my choirs is singing this piece at our next concert, and thus far, I have not been able to get through more than a few bars (either listening or singing) without straight-up weeping. I don't know how I'm going to make it through the concert.

I don't usually watch a lot of videos or make resolutions. But this year, I've resolved to watch more cute animal videos, and I think it's working out very well for me, and fully endorse it as a resolution. You should try it too.

Not really my best work, because you can't actually *see* the knitting, but I promise this is indeed my traditional knitting-backstage-in-costume photo for the show I just closed.

A decent entry in the YA dystopian canon. I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes next. ⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2
