One wonders if it might be because gendering a male presenting individual anything else than he/him runs the risk of angering a potential cis manby offending his feelings, which can incite violence. If that makes sense.

First time I played it I binged it in one night while my roommate at the time studied for their exams. Wasn't allowed to go to bed until they finished. Didn't mind one bit. Magnificent game. 12/10
