I agree. And for the most part we have been able to pinpoint the students that are using AI.

I guess my thinking is more than just "how do we make sure the kids don't use AI?". It's more "how can we teach the use of AI in a positive way while still getting kids writing?"

Currently, my main suggestion is that students would just write their essays in Google Docs, as we have them do right now, but then instead of turning them in on paper, they would just turn them in using Google Classroom. Teachers can then use DraftBack to see all the revision changes.

I also meant to say that if you want to change some of the words it uses, it is super easy to change it on GitHub and then just recompile it.

I actually just went to your website and sent you a note.

Thanks for the heads up.

That would be amazing if they aren't using them anymore. Just let me know!

I'm located in Indiana. The vex stuff is what I'm looking for. Mostly because I don't want to just be a robotic step by step kit. I want it to be something where the kids actually have to design and code.

I just saw your earlier post you mentioned rechargeable batteries. I'm so sorry if you misunderstood but this keyboard does not have rechargeable batteries... It takes two double a batteries. Sorry 😔

As far as the keyboard touchpad combo, I went with this Logitech. I know it's basic, but one of the things that I really like about it is it has a left mouse button in the top left corner of the keyboard. It makes clicking convenient when moving around the room.

So we're Chromebook school and what I'm actually doing is putting a chrome box on the back of each of the boards and giving each teacher a wireless keyboard so that hopefully they don't have to do too much wireless projecting. They just log into the Chromebox and use it as the computer.

75 in Newline q series interactive flat panels. They are the first flat panels we are purchasing as a school because we've been using projectors. And we are wall mounting them. When I was talking to CDW our main tech supplier this was the well recommended model. We will see.
