There's been an increase in ICE activity in Jersey, so if you haven't already please join your local rapid response. Even if you just save the number and look out. The more ppl trained & participating the more neighbors we can keep safe.

The specific kind of nerd I am is I was incredibly excited to meet the person who worked on this graphic from @dosocialjustice.bsky.social tonight. I think about this everyday since the first iteration a couple years ago. NJ is not what it tells itself it is.

I'm only averaging five kids an hour so far handing out candy. Any leftovers are coming to this Know Your Rights training tomorrow in Jersey City.

We need more people to do Know Your Rights and Rapid Response training. I'm doing one at Triangle Park Community Center but we can do it with any group people are a part of... schools groups, churches, neighborhood groups...

I saw this yesterday while people were helping to spread this copaganda, and I don't put it past them to be this stupid/duplicitous. It's an excellent reminder of why we need journalism that doesn't just regurgítate harmful propaganda without any questions.

I was outside outside from 10am to 10pm today on mostly concrete and I'm too old. But I did find these monarch butterfly caterpillars and brought Krispy Kreme to families who were visiting their kidnapped loved ones. So still a good day.
