A real say in creating skills and opportunities for the next generation - putting our people front and centre.⁠
⁠I’ll use this position to ensure Weston gets its fair share of everything, from investment and apprenticeships to trade and tourism.⁠

It will give us a powerful seat at the table. One of only 11 voices around that table, I will be a passionate champion for our local businesses and entrepreneurs. ⁠

More influence over how government and companies support towns like ours⁠

We are only effective when we are united, I'm grateful we had two candidates who believe passionately in a united, progressive party of power. Whatever the outcome, this is a huge opportunity to build a new chapter for social justice across our country. Bring it on! ❤️🌹

If anyone is concerned about loved ones who may be caught up in any conflict, my team is ready to support.

Further escalation would be a grave threat to peace and is in no one’s interest.

This is a critical and dangerous moment. I urge all parties to show restraint, step back from the brink, and prioritise diplomacy over conflict.

🏥 GP surgeries are being upgraded

That means 1 in 6 GP practices will benefit, bringing shorter waits and better care.

Only Labour will deliver the investment and reform our NHS so urgently needs.

The Council said they are reviewing how they share information - including clearer signage at bus stops and better explanations of routes like the 7H and 7B and fundamentally, accessibility needs.

✅ We will attend the next Bus Forum to keep things moving forward.

✅ Better Communication and engagement: We made it clear to First Bus that communication around recent changes hasn’t been good enough.

✅ Worle Development: I’ve stressed the importance of completing the Worle development to help create a more sustainable and better-connected bus network for Weston - Again, I will be like a dog with a bone.

✅ Short- & Long-Term Solutions: We’re actively exploring both short- and long-term options to restore access to the seafront loop and Waterloo Street. While nothing is confirmed yet, all parties understand how important this is and I am pushing both to deliver ASAP
