My own article, 'Taxonomies of exclusion: Storytelling, naming and classification in an age of extinction', goes back to my first academic love - #ecocriticism - to explore the epistemology of extinction through taxonomy and classification. Good poetry included!

A pretty wonderful Mi’kmaw word and its hieroglyphic or komqwejwi’kasikl form, as used in a Michelle Sylliboy poem. The hieroglyphs are often said to date from the 17th century, but most Mi’kmaq believe they’re much older.

the old world is dying and the new world struggles to be born; now is the time of bonkers
What was so telling today is how the market is quite literally grasping for anything to the point where it will move trillions (with a T) of dollars over what turns out to be fake news…what that means for the rest of the week and beyond…who knows
Idk my gut still says it won’t be that bad, and the market overall will drop like 2% but I’m very curious how futures react to the weekend
