If you look close, you'll see the grass is frozen in this picture. Temps were in the low 20s this morning. Tomorrow's high is supposed to reach 78°F. Autumn on the front range is a rollercoaster.

That rain looks pretty intense. I'll bet it is a nice break from the heat. Our lows are really dropping. We will be close to freezing a couple days in the coming week.

It is definitely starting to feel like autumn. Morning temperatures are brisk, the leaves are changing colors and the Canada geese are moving in. This is my favorite season.

After my difficult day yesterday, I took a nice long walk with Luna this morning. Taking time to appreciate the beauty around us, has helped to restore my soul a little. Now, it's time to rest my body and mind so that Monday, I can get back to making the world better for the kids I support.

Saturday, at the homecoming dance, one of our kids showed up unexpectedly and had issues requiring us to call parents to come get them. I somehow, unintentionally turned on the setting below. It was so hard to chase a kid through the school and try to communicate when I could barely read my screen.
