We got our first snow of the season this morning. It was just a dusting, but it's a start. I took Luna for a walk this morning. The feels-like got all the way up to 11°F. I had to cut the walk short because I wore thin gloves and my fingers were screaming at me.

Getting old sucks. Right before I left for my brother's, I twisted funny and tweaked my back. I spent the entire time there in pain and sitting. When I got home, I took some pain meds and now I'm laying on a heating pad.

Happy Thanksgiving! Today, I am thankful for the joy I'm able to encourage and participate in. I'm thankful for the friends and family here to share time with. I'm thankful for the opportunities to grow despite all of the tragedies. Most of all, I'm thankful for the love and beauty in the world.
