But that’s incorrect use of the term. Most people use it incorrectly. It stems from the book “Uncle Tom’s Cabin,” however Tom wasn’t the bad person. He wasn’t a bad character. It was Sambo who worked for the slave owner and was the problematic one. So those folks are Sambos.
