This may look just like a regular tree to you, but it’s not. Many Black folks lost their lives on this very tree which sits in front of the courthouse in my county. My mother told me stories, and I have seen depictions in county records and books about my county. And I have always just gotten 1/2

This has app has showed OUT today!!! Normally I get 20¢ off per gallon on Fridays so that’s why I waited to fill up today. Hun-ny these folks are giving $1 off per gallon because of the holiday, and I can get that off daily through the 6th!! Filled up for $1.79 per gallon!! Won’t He do it??!!!

Went to the nearby state park today and bought some (beautiful) firewood bundles. I already took out four pieces from the bag in the left to burn tonight. Anyway, this is a great way to support the state (and national) parks if they happen to sell firewood. It’s $6 a bundle at the park near me.

Getting caught up. I knew when they said how they decided on the name of the podcast it was going to be good. They don’t disappoint. I don’t always agree with everything they say but that’s good. There’s 3 of them and they don’t even always agree with each other either. That’s how it should be.

Now I know we aren’t supposed to shop at Target but I’ve been trying to nab this since September 2024. I FINALLY got the Afro pick cutting board!!! This thing was a beast to catch! Caught it online and couldn’t check out fast enough!

The developers of this game definitely did their research into Black culture. This is a letter you’ll find (if you actually look for all of that stuff). I remember one day when I was younger and had cut my fingernails and I told my mother I was gonna throw them outside and she read me. This is why.

I knew when I saw the name Rufus and also “BBQ” on package that these were going to be a good time. They are so good! I don’t know HOW they got that sweetness of honey but a smoky BBQ taste at the same time on a peanut. Found at my favorite store the Dollar Tree. Gotta get some mo’!
