I agree with the gist of this (whiny babies'll never love you) but I suspect I'm wary of writing *for* anyone
I don't mean write only for yourself in some kind of absurd solipsistic way (joyless onanism)
I mean you can't know how you'll be read, and it's always partially a leap into the dark deep
