Such an unfortunate coincidence that on Constitution Day, the First Amendment is blatantly violated. All of a sudden, "cancel culture" is no big deal for MAGA.

Have the day you voted for, Nebraska!

It's yet another time for Susan Collins to play Lucy with the football. I'm sure she is VERY CONCERNED about the Big, Ugly Bill. And then she'll vote for it. Come on Maine, turn the page. Vote Blue.

Our president was called a carnival barker in the 2016 presidential campaign. Now Canada has elected a Carney for Prime Minister. I'd take that Carney over our carney.

Given everything that's happening right now, I'm just wondering if Susan Collins is "concerned" yet.

My portfolio is down 12% since the inauguration. So much winning in this administration.

Every pediatric dentist in Utah is salivating at the money that's about to fall upon them. Cavities for kids all around! The RFK effect rearing its ugly head on drinking water.

Woooooowwwwww. I'm shocked.
Anti-war Trump, who would end all wars immediately, is presiding over more bombing than ever in Gaza, launched new attacks in Yemen, and didn't end the Russia-Ukraine war on day one like he promised.

Started putting a little away each month in a growth stock 8 months ago. In two days, it's now worth less than the original principal invested. Thanks, Trump, and your awesome tariffs.

Republicans believe that government can't effectively work for the people. Now, they're proving they're right by laying off thousands of federal employees, creating the problem of inefficiency themselves.

Republican Congressman Tim Walberg (MI) said at a Town Hall that if you can't afford a passport, then you shouldn't be allowed to vote. They're saying the quiet part out loud again because they don't care. They believe there are no consequences. m.youtube.com/watch?v=0nyX... (47 minute mark).

@casten.house.gov Can we talk about the insurance industry scam? Auto insurance went up 18% in one year, yet the stock increased by 35% since I last renewed my insurance. Thanks, Progressive!

If the Tate bros are involved in human trafficking, where is the outrage from QAnon folks? Where is the right wing who care so desperately about children?

So the latest pretzel logic by Republicans is that the resolution that passed yesterday didn't SAY that Medicaid would be cut. But the only way to get to the number to be cut REQUIRES Medicaid to be cut. But Congressional Republicans still think that fraud, waste, and abuse is the answer. It's not.
February 26, 2025 at 6:28 PM
Republican Congress is scared to enact the types of cuts wanted from the Musk White House. They don't want it on record. They just want DOGE to do the dirty work while they go back to their constituents to deny supporting draconian cuts to essential services. They are cowards, period.

@foxnews.com.web.brid.gy You all good with "Long Live the King" or no? Where is the line with you and your pundits?
February 19, 2025 at 10:04 PM
Just thinking about an alternative universe where Joe Biden got reelected in 2024 and tweets, "Long live the King." How apoplectic would the talking heads at Fox News be? 24/7, nonstop, bringing up the founders and King George, calling Biden a tyrant, etc. But Trump? Crickets. #foxnews

Any higher ed professional could have done a better job answering questions for Sec. Ed. than Linda McMahon. To that end, I'm ready to serve when we have a reasonable president back in office. Just ask.

Tell me Trump voters...how is the U.S. showing strength by telling Ukraine to cede territory to Russia? You good with this? #Trump #POTUS

Seen on a local community thread....someone complaining about their property taxes and then said she would move if it weren't for the great schools. Said with zero irony.

"America First" and laissez-faire economic policies in the 1920s led to the rise of Hitler and the Great Depression. Here we are in the 2020s, and we haven't learned.
February 5, 2025 at 8:39 PM
When the recession starts, here will be the right wing media talking points deflecting blame on Trump: 1) we need short-term suffering for long-term gains; 2) he's the only president who wanted to tackle the debt, and cutting spending had to happen; 3) the stock and housing markets were a bubble.
