No denying that Brentford were awful against Fulham on the weekend. Not really sure what happened but it was one of the worst performances I've seen from the team in the Premier League. Really need to improve to get something from the City game next.

Brentford into round 4! Can always count on our throws to get us out of trouble. Was a fun match to watch and great to see squad players get minutes and Hickey scoring a beauty! Hope Ajer's injury isn't bad. Well done Bees!! 🐝⚽🏆

Brilliant for Brentford to get a point from that game. Yeah we should have done better to hold on to the lead, but we gave it everything to come back from 2-1 down and the point is well deserved!

Great business by Brentford to sell Wissa for £55mil. £46.5mil profit in 4 years! But surely Reiss Nelson isn't the replacement? I hope he does well and he'll do as a backup to existing wingers but we seriously need to sign a striker.

Wish I could say we deserved something from that game but, honestly, we were stale and lacked threat. A couple of good moments from Dango and Thiago, but nothing else. Sunderland had fight. Keep that up and they’ll do alright this season.

This doesn’t seem very “Brentford” to spend so much on a player. He’s young and has a lot of potential but is he really worth that much? Seems like a gamble.

This doesn’t seem very “Brentford” to spend so much on a player. He’s young and has a lot of potential but is he really worth that much? Seems like a gamble.
This would be a decent signing. Brentford were after him before he moved to Dortmund. Seems like a few other things have to happen before this might materialise though.

This would be a decent signing. Brentford were after him before he moved to Dortmund. Seems like a few other things have to happen before this might materialise though.

Cheers Mads. A great backup player for us in our recent history. Played his part in our promotion to the Premier League and will always be remembered fondly. Will be a great addition to Southampton. Good luck!

If the add-ons push it to between £40-£45mil this'll probably go through. Time to get rid. Don't want a player that doesn't want to be at the club. Just over £30mil profit is good work but that money must be invested in a new forward.

That's a lot of money to spend on Ouattara. At the age of 23 he should be playing first team football regularly so should get a much more prominant role at Brentford than he had at 🍒. I'm interested to see where Schade fits in all this? Thought he'd be the go-to after Mbeumo and if Wissa leaves...

Good to see Thiago on the scoresheet yesterday. Needs a strong start to this season. Great to see Hickey get some minutes too. Kayode has also looked good. I wonder who will start at the full back positions for Brentford this year?

I don’t think £40mil for Wissa is unreasonable. He has a year left plus the club has another year option. He scored 19 goals last season and is in his prime as a striker. Strikers are also in demand this season (especially for us very soon!). So yeah I think it’s a realistic valuation.

If Brentford are sanctioning a move for Wissa, I really hope they have replacements in the pipeline. With Mbeumo gone, I kinda feel like we should get someone else in first before allowing Wissa to go.

With Mbeumo likely going to Man Utd now, I doubt Wissa will be sold as well. I wonder if Brentford will use some of the money from selling Mbeumo to try and tempt Wissa to sign a new contract?

Looks like Brentford came out on top in the negotiations for Mbeumo. £65m +£6m in addons is really great for a player who cost £5.5m. He's been fantastic for us and a joy to watch. Fully deserves another level of football to what we can offer. Not sure why he chose Man Utd though 🤷😘
