Submissive early 30s guy in the big city. Total klutz. If you want to call me something, "boy" is a good starting place.
With a fetish for leather belts, you could be aroused simply seeing a man wearing a leather belt in everyday life.

Or in a different vein, power exchange is a kink, but you may fetishize being controlled by another person.

I like the explanation by @subdaddy.bsky.social on this thread. It’s a nice and compact explanation.

From my perspective, fetishes are driven by the meaning you give them. Fetishes are relative to you, even though other people may have a similar fetish.

It’s your story to craft and tell the details how you want them to be consumed.

And on the alternative side, it also allows submissives to sink into the fantasy of serving you through self-substitution in the story 😉

The insight into your thought process is also what makes it sexy. What were you surprised by? What turned you on? How did you push your sub? Why did you do something at the time you did it? What pleased you? And what didn’t please you or needed improvement? There’s erotica in detail.

I appreciate that you want to be fully present for your subs, because the mental context is so important for kink. In the same way, stories draw the readers into that mental context and your experience, allowing them to become immersed in the scene.

Stories would be great. Even though stories and videos are both voyeuristic engines, stories incorporate your mental perspective in a way that can’t be captured through simple filming. Through storytelling, we can understand what you wanted, what you expected, why you did or didn’t do something.

That's not something that can be quantified since there's no appropriate control, however the format of micro-blogging platforms lend themselves well to preview-and-convert content.

I'm also interested in how much the advent of OnlyFans and similar platforms altered what content would have been created. Such platforms created a demand for content that funneled consumers to their monetized counterpart, a channel that grew mostly after Tumblr's NSFW ban.
