Recon’s app sometimes shows the wrong thumbnail in profile lists, and I know caching is a complex problem, but I want to know how *that* is the problem they encountered.

Long-form posts on Tumblr were a strong feature for the gay/kink community in its golden age, and it's difficult to recapture the content mix that Tumblr offered. In spite of threads and varied post presentations, the micro-blogging focus on conciseness is limiting on both the creator and consumer.

After the collapse of Tumblr, moving to Bluesky from Twitter feels more like a natural progression and an opportunity to reflect on what I want my online presence to encompass. Not necessarily a reinvention but an evolution.
