Tics, England, 90s music. Twitter refugee.
A couple of celebratory pints in Earlsfield later, I walk past the #wafc team coach then bump into Ryan Lowe and Gregor Rioch who’ve just bought pop and snacks at Tesco Express. Mental.

Watching #wafc 3 miles from home. Kudos to the lads and lasses who’ve travelled down for this. Maybe less so to those who skulked in the fabulous Little Taperia on Tooting High Street. Though I feel they made the better choice.

I feel like I’m in a film where I’m the only person in the world who remembers that the President of the United States tried to incite a violent mob to overturn his defeat in a democratic election.

Replies to posts on the #wafc Facebook page covering this week’s EFL #Togetheragainstracism campaign are fucking depressing. “Take the knee like little sheep.” “Concentrate on football and nothing else”. “Define racism.” For the actual sake of fuck.

Mate of mine who spent 23 years in service of this country just sent me this having seen the racist march in London today.

“We are supposed to be gentlemen. And by that I mean stick up for the underdog. Self depreciate. Service before self. It makes me weep.

Anyway, that’s what I try.”

Dear #lawsky. Whether or not you agree with the UK PM’s reported planned actions, this attack by our official opposition on the rule of law needs to be challenged. If you can stomach descending to the other site, please give them a piece of your mind.

Watson winner in stoppage time at Wembley. I’m sure it’ll ring a few bells for #wafc supporters.

One effect of the US shitshow I hadn’t appreciated. The significant increase in capital punishment going under the international radar. International pressure was having an impact, particularly with manufacturers not supplying lethal injection drugs. 1/2
Serial killer Glen Rogers' last words were "President Trump, keep making America great."

So he's still polling well with his core demographic.

Tell someone who isn’t that you’re a football supporter, particularly of a lower league club and England, and you still get those incredulous looks and (more often than not) sneers. But the tragic but life-affirming story of #wafc legend Darren Orme says so much about why we do it.
Darren Orme: Tragic story of Wigan fan shows concept of football family still exists
The sad story of much-loved Wigan fan Darren Orme shows the concept of clubs as an extended family still exists, says chief football writer Phil McNulty.

Pretty much every #wafc supporter on the other site.
I have a season ticket and attend as many games as I can but I secretly enjoy it more when my football team go through poor patches of form. I love moaning & arguing about the club. When we are winning games there's simply not as much to talk about.

Lewis-Skelly red card overturned. When asked about the difference between that and the Weir challenge, the FA disciplinary panel said they could clearly see the #wafc badge on Weir’s shirt. Allegedly.
